Fine and warm in central and southern Europe, gales to the north


Wednesday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal on Wednesday, although there could be an isolated shower to the south. Fine for most of Italy with some early mist or fog patches clearing. Greece and Turkey stay mostly dry with some more sunshine and warm weather here.
France should be dry with some good spells of sunshine developing here. More cloud and outbreaks of rain in the Low Countries and northern Germany. The rain band extends into northern parts of Poland. Southern Poland, southern Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Hungary should be dry with sunny spells.
Cloud and rain extends through Denmark and it will be breezy too. Scattered showers and broken cloud in the Baltic States. Finland should be mostly dry. Bright and dry in northern Sweden and then dry with some sunny spells for Norway.


Thursday
More sunshine and dry weather to come across Spain and Portugal on Thursday. There is the risk of a shower in the far south. Sunshine across the Balearics and staying dry here. Fair weather with lots of sunshine for Italy. Greece and Turkey stay dry and very warm.
France is going to have a dry day with more sunshine and dry weather here although some drizzle in the far north at first. The Low Countries will have plenty of cloud with this affecting central Germany too. Northern Poland will be windy with some outbreaks of rain. Southern Germany, the Czech and Slovak Republics , Hungary, Switzerland and Austria will be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Windy in Denmark with a few showers here. Rain, some of it heavy across Sweden and Norway, this extending into the Baltic Staes too. Gales could occur through this areas as well. Norway will have a mix of sunny spells and showers.
