Snow and rain for Scandinavia

Sunday
High pressure resides across France and Biscay bringing plenty of dry weather to central Europe. An easterly wind across Spain will bring persistent rain to some southern areas, whilst Portugal will stay dry, highs 16C. Italy, the Mediterranean, Balkans and Greece will be dry with a good amount of sunshine.
Mild southwesterly winds for northern France and the Low Countries will see temperatures widely 10 to 13C, but expect a lot of cloud and some drizzly rain. Breezy for northern Germany and southern Scandinavia, with occasional light rain. Some more persistent rain spreads across the Baltic states. Wet in western Norway. A risk of snow showers in central Sweden moving in from the northern Baltic. Northern Scandinavia stays cold but dry.

Monday
A blustery day for south-western Spain and Portugal, but very warm with south-easterly winds coming in from north Africa, pushing temperatures to locally 20C. Most of Iberia will be dry. It stays dry across France and the Alps, plus Italy and south-eastern Europe under generally high pressure. Light winds and sunshine, but a risk of local low cloud or fog.
A brisk westerly wind for northern-central Europe. Generally mild. Low pressure affects Scandinavia, bringing a threat of heavy snow to central Norway and Sweden, and rain toward the south. Snow showers affect eastern Sweden around the Gulf of Bothnia. A spell of rain affects northern Germany and the Low Countries, but should clear from Denmark. Drizzly rain for Poland and into western Ukraine.
