Staying hit and dry in southern Europe but cloud and rain to the north


Thursday
A fair day with plenty of sunshine for Spain and Portugal. Fine too in the Balearics as well as in Italy. Greece and Turkey are going to be fair too with the sunshine continuing here.
A fair day in France with more sunshine throughout the day. A few showers affecting the Low Countries and northern Germany. Poland may also have some rain in northern areas, but to the south it will be drier with sunny spells. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will have scattered showers although dry for many.
Windy and more unsettled to the north of Europe. Wind and rain affecting Denmark and southern Sweden as well as southern Norway. The Baltic States will be bright with sunny spells here. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Finland with northern Sweden and northern Norway being drier with sunny spells.


Friday
Sunny and dry for most of Spain and Portugal on Friday. There will be some cloud affecting northern coasts bringing some periods of rain here. Fine and hot for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Italy and Turkey will be dry and warm with hot and sunny weather continuing through Greece.
Cloud and some showers affecting central and western parts of France, but the east and south should be dry. Some showers and cloud in the Low Countries and northern Germany too. Much of southern Germany will be dry although some heavy showers will be affecting Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells throughout.
Cloud, wind and rain affecting Denmark and the south of Norway as well as Sweden. It should be fair for the Baltic States although heavy showers will be troubling Finland. Norway sees sunny spells and just occasional showers.
